Coldwater Cold as Bearcats Roll

Tuesday was Family Night at Battle Creek Central, and the Bearcats certainly played liked they were all brothers as Battle Creek Central defeated the Coldwater Cardinals by a final score of 77-41.

 

BCC had nine players score with seven players scoring at least eight points.

Central slowly increased their lead after every quarter before routing the Cardinals in the third quarter. They led by five after the first quarter, nine at halftime, and 20 after the third quarter.

The Bearcats leading scorers were senior Diante Taylor and sophomore Mohammed Albagmi who chipped in with 13 points apiece.

Albagami caught fire in the second half after only scoring once in the first half, Albagmi had 11 in the second half, with six coming in the third when the Bearcats began to rout the Cardinals.

The Bearcats are now 9-4 overall and 6-3 in their division. They will travel to Gull Lake on Friday.

Back on December 16, the Devils defeated the Bearcats at BCCHS in close game, 62-58.
